Venues are mostly at our premises at 63C & 63D High Street Wolstanton Newcastle Staffordshire ST5 0ES. This venue is only a few minutes from the M6 Junction 15 if you come from the south and Junction 16 if you come from the North and two minutes of the A500. We are in the center of The three counties of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire and not very far from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We happily accept students from anywhere in the UK and indeed the rest of the world and we will be helpful finding local accomodation for students traveling some distance. We are only one hours drive from the cities of Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby, Manchester, Chester and Liverpool Access from Wales and the Midlands is equally easy.
For other venues anywhere in the world please request price and other conditions, we will travel nationwide for a very resonable fee.
Commercial training can be undertaken anywhere please feel free to request fee for your requirements, Especially our Introduction to NLP can be of great value to the business world, we will be happy to adapt this course to your individual requirements.

Baldur School of Therapies has a rigid policy on the number of students on all our courses and workshops, we always keep the numbers sufficiently low to be able to accomodate each individual student.
Baldur School of Therapies offer GHR Validated courses in hypnotherapy. The Complimentary Medical Association also validate our training in Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching, Auricular Candle Therapy and Bio Energiser Detox taining. Our Usui Reiki courses are validated by The World Wide Reiki Society. All other courses are of an equally high standard, and all carry some level of accreditation.

Mission Statement:
Baldur School of Therapies Staffordshire UK is always aiming to give its students the best possible deal, in learning, value and continues support post course completion.
We also believe that we are giving them the best value for their money, with constant deals and possibilities for individual payment plans. Most training is done in small groups of no more than six people.
We can give the broadest background and a variety of methods covering almost every aspect of the taught therapy methodology. We take our own training very seriously and do continuesly further our own skills, obviously we also take our students training equally serious, even in therapies with thousand of years history we believe that developments take place and as such keep up to date with what is new.
We will always aim at excellence in what ever we do, and we take any form of criticism very seriously, therefore we like to be told so we can rectify.

What do You get for Your money?
You get a course filled with experiences and Useful new skills. This is done in a relative small group setting, we do not enrol more than six people on any course, we always aim at working in a relaxed environment, through mutual acceptability and respect.
Several of our courses also give you a professional qualification enabling you to set up your own practice once you have completed your training.
Other courses will help you to develop on a personal or professional level.
We are fully insured through Sun Alliance for Professional Risks, covering liabilities arising from both therapies and the provision of formal training courses in the insured activities.
All Teaching is done by well qualified and experienced tutors who themselves have done or are undertaking training to master level wherever possible, and who still continue their professional expansion and development.
Henrik Andersen is not only the principal he also personally do the most of the training, some course may be franchised out and occasionally specialist teachers are brought in.

Choice of name:
The name is taken from Nordic / Norse Mythology. Baldur / Balder is the son of Odin and Frigga, married to Nanna and father to Forseti. His dwelling is called Breidablik. Baldur was the beautiful, the fairest and the gentlest of the Æsir. When he once had a dream that foreboded danger to his life, his mother Frigga took oaths from everything which lived, grew or moved upon earth that they wouldn´t harm Balder. From the mistletoe no oath was taken, it considered to be so weak, soft and young. The evil Loki took advantage of this, shaped the mistletoe into a dart and persuaded blind Hoder to shoot at Balder, which caused Balder´s death.
The Æsir drew out Balder´s longship Ringhorn, they built a mighty funeral pyre upon it. When Balder´s body was placed on the ship, his beloved wife Nanna died from her broken heart so that the Æsir placed her at his side and the fire was kindled. Thor hallowed the pyre with Miollnir and Odin placed the ring Draupnir on Balder´s finger, even Balder´s horse with all kinds of equipment was placed in the ship. The darkness now rushed over the world and the grief was tremendous because of Balder´s death.
The Æsir tried to get Balder back by sending the messenger Hermodur to Helheim but without results. There are similarities between the white Balder and the White Christ (Jesus). Both of them are Gods filled with goodness but also suffering. After their deaths they´ve became wept for. The good and the evil fighting against each other, has led to a presumed connection between Snorri´s version of the myth of Balder and Christianity.

Baldur is the Viking God of lamentations, there is nothing but good to be told of him. He is the wisest of gods and the sweetest spoken, Baldur is the son of Odin and Frigg husband of ‘the Goddess of Joy’’ Nanna.

However individual experience stretches back to 1973 in a professional capacity and of personal development and psychological growth.
